DEMOS CONTINENTAL is the oldest active Greek Grocery shop in London that began operations back in 1965. The shop was bought by Agrofarm Industries Ltd in 2015 and now it’s under Agrofarm’s management.
The shop is located at 8 Green Lanes N13 6JR at Palmers Green area which is a very high-density area of Greeks.

Demos Continental is specialized in the direct importation of Greek food products. It maintains most probably the largest variety of Authentic Greek Products that exceeds the 3,200 different items. 

The shop is well known by the last 3 generations of Greeks living in London & (the UK in general). Its responsibilities towards its customers are on a large and wide scale since is the oldest Greek Grocery Shop in London and probably in the UK.

The shop today specialises in the sale of mostly Greek ethnic food. It gives high attention to the following main aspects

a. The direct importations on a regular weekly basis of fresh seasonal unwaxed fruits & vegetables from Greece mainland and Islands such as

Potatoes, Artichokes, Cucumbers, Avocados, Clementines,  Oranges, Lemons, Apples, Kolokasi and many others.

b. The direct importations from Greece of 2000 different items of high-quality Dry, Frozen and Refrigerated products such as Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Olives, Pasta, Dairies, Legumes, Sweets, Frozen Food and many others.

c. The direct importations from Greece of a great and selected variety of wines & spirits.

d. The Trading of other famous brands of Greek products that other importers bring to the UK such as Kean, Laiko, Mitsides, Charalambous, Loel, Keo, Fedon, Johnsof, Attiki, Misko,3A, Agrino, Ion, Papadopoulou, Lux, Mythos, Fix, Xrysi Zymi & many others.

e. To keep and maintain low prices on all the variety of products with high attention on the line of the main products.

The shop has recently created a Delicatessen Department with cheese, meat and fish products from the most famous regions of Greece. 

• Authentic MIRAN Pastourma & Sutzouki, Handmade Sausages from Evritania, Mani and Tripoli. Bafaloe's Sausages and Traditional Salami from Kerkira and Lefkada. Cretan vinegar Sausages, Traditional Wine Lountza and Sausages, Chiromeri from Troodos Mountain.

• Graviera from Naxos, Mitilini, Amphilohia. Kefalotiri from Crete, Epiros and Parnassos. Kefalograviera from Aphilohia and Crete. Smoked Cheese from Metzovo and Vermio, Kaskavali and a large variety of Original Halloumi.

• Marinated Octopus and Lakerda from Thessaloniki, Gavros Marinatos, Tsirosalata and Skoumbri Fillets from Volos. Double Gold Smoked Herings and fish variety in oil (Ouzomezes) from Mitilini.
