These terms and conditions set out the full extent of any agreement between you and DemosContinental.co.uk. By placing an order with us, you agree to be bound by DemosContinental.co.uk’s terms and conditions set out below.

Legal Disclaimer

Unless expressly indicated in the product description, DemosContinental.co.uk is not the manufacturer of the products sold on our website. While we work to ensure that product information on our website is correct, manufacturers may alter their product information. Actual product packaging and materials may contain more and/or different information than shown on our website. You should always read the labels, warnings and instructions provided with the product before using or consuming it and not solely rely on the information presented on our website. If you have any specific product queries, please contact the manufacturer. This notice does not affect your legal rights.


Contract for the Supply of Goods

  • DemosContinental.co.uk is a trading name of Agrofarm Industries Ltd, 84 Aldermans Hill, Palmers Green, London, N13 4PP, United Kingdom and its principal aim is to supply Greek products to the UK.

  • No contract for the supply of goods will subsist unless and until an email is sent by DemosContinental.co.uk to you confirming that your order has been completed (dispatched) (this does not include our order receipt email). This confirmation email amounts to an acceptance by DemosContinental.co.uk and is effective regardless of whether or not you receive the email.

  • DemosContinental.co.uk is free to withdraw from a prospective contract at any time prior to acceptance.



  • DemosContinental.co.uk accepts payment by credit or debit cards, or cash.

  • Your card will normally be charged within 24 hours from ordering since the stock is strictly controlled, reserved for you. In following acceptance case, of unexpected stock shortages or defective material, a full refund will be issued within a reasonable time and you will be notified accordingly.


Our Prices

  • All prices listed on the site include taxes (where relevant).

  • Minimum Spend per order is currently set at £30.



  • In the case where a product is out of stock at DemosContinental.co.uk, it will be mentioned on our website the soonest possible.

  • Product availability is subject to change without notice.

Important information regarding the shipping of chilled and chocolate products:

During the longer nights and warmer days, as much as we enjoy this time of year, it does make shipping chilled items as well as chocolate items more challenging. There is an increased risk that chilled products and products containing chocolate will be damaged by heat during transit. In previous years, we have simply opted to not ship these items during the Spring and Summer months. However, we were constantly having requests from customers that they must have their products and that we should ship anyway. Therefore, we have decided to continue shipping chilled and chocolate items to our customers as long as they are willing to “take the chance”.

We ship a lot of chocolate to customers during the warmer months. The vast majority arrive perfectly intact and without damage. However, we cannot control the temperature of carrier warehouses and trucks during transit. We cannot control where the carrier leaves your package either. Therefore, there is a small risk that some shipments will unfortunately be damaged.

We will continue to offer these items for sale on our website. However, please understand that we cannot accept responsibility should your chocolate melt during shipping. We are giving you the choice to place orders with this risk in mind. DemosContinental.co.uk will not accept returns or issue refunds or store credits for any chocolate damaged by heat. It is solely the customer’s choice and risk whether to order these items or not.


  • DemosContinental.co.uk retains a certain level of information about our customers in order that we can process orders you place with us and provide you with a convenient service when you return to our site.

  • The information you provide when registering will not be sold, lent or otherwise disseminated beyond DemosContinental.co.uk and the resources required fulfilling your order, and we make every effort to secure any data we hold.

  • We adhere to the Data Protection Principles therein which in summary require that data shall be:

  • Fairly and lawfully processed.

  • Processed for limited purposes.

  • Adequate, relevant and not excessive.

  • Accurate.

  • Not kept longer than necessary.

Delivery Options & Rates

At the moment, Demos Continental have two different types of Delivery plus the Click&Collect option.

Delivery Type 1A

  • We deliver at a radius of 7 miles around us with our vehicles within 1 to 5 days delivery time.

  • The charge is variable from £5.00 to £8.00, depending on the delivery time option that you will select (next day Delivery or Standard Delivery).

  • Any congestion charges or tolls will be charged to you additionally.


Delivery Type 1B

  • We deliver at an extended radius (more than 7 miles up to 20 miles) with our vehicles with a 3 to 5 days delivery time.

  • Contact us before you submit your order to confirm the cost.

  • Any congestion charges or tolls will be charged to you additionally.


Delivery Type 2

  • We deliver nationwide with our delivery associate Parcel Force with a 3 to 5 days delivery time.

  • All costs are subject to the final destination.

  • Contact us to confirm the delivery cost before submitting your order.

  • Once the order is confirmed, you will receive the tracking information for your parcel from Parcel Force directly.

  • We are unable to guarantee that the courier will deliver the products on time. Delivery can be affected by factors outside of our control, and in particular, affected by adverse weather conditions or peak ordering times. During festive and celebratory periods, like Christmas, Easter, Mother’s and Father’s day your order may be delayed as the courier network is extremely busy. Please allow enough time for your delivery to avoid disappointment. We will not be liable for any loss incurred through late delivery.


Click and Collect

  • An email confirmation will be sent to you to confirm that your order is ready for collection. Please bring your order reference number with your payment card and photo identification such as a driver’s licence or passport.

  • Collection from our shop at 8 Green Lanes, N13 6JR from Monday to Friday 11 am - 6 pm.


Damages & Discrepancies

  • Please inspect the parcel on receipt and if the packaging is damaged and/or there are signs of a leakage please refuse the delivery and ask the delivery person to return the item to us.


  • If you discover that the contents of delivery are damaged please take photographs of the packaging and contents and send these with as much information as possible to info@demoscontinental.co.uk within 48 hours of delivery.


  • If you discover that you have received the wrong goods or there are discrepancies then please email us on the address above or call our customer service team (Monday-Friday 11 am – 6 pm) within 48 hours of receiving the order.



Acceptance of Delivery

  • A signature would usually be required for all deliveries, due to the nature of the goods being carried. At the moment couriers will not ask for a signature on their dockets but a person over the age of 18 must be available to accept delivery. They will deliver to your door but are not permitted to enter. In the instance, there is no one at home to accept delivery, the driver will take the shipment back to our depot and you would need to rearrange delivery or a collection from our depot. We are unable to leave parcels unattended in porches, sheds, garages etc. If an item is left unattended at your request, it is entirely at your own risk.

  • If the courier is in doubt about the age of the recipient, they will request some

  • form of photo ID. If the person receiving the product(s) is unable to produce an appropriate photo ID, unfortunately, the carrier will be unable to leave the shipment.

  • If the courier has been unable to deliver the goods to the address provided you may be requested to collect the goods from our local depot. You will be required to take photo identification and order details to collect your parcel.

  • In this event, we do not have any responsibility for any additional delivery cost (i.e. Re-delivery cost)


Returns & Cancellations

  • You have the right to cancel an order if you notify us via phone call of your intention to return the products within 7 days of receipt of the goods. We cannot accept the return of chilled, frozen and chocolate products. We will refund the cost of the products as long as they are returned in the same condition. Please note the delivery charge is non-refundable and you are liable for the collection and re-delivery costs.

  • In the unlikely event the goods are faulty or damaged you can return your goods within 48 hours of delivery, as long as you have complied with our damages policy. If the goods are faulty, a courier at no extra cost will collect the goods to you and we will replace the item if available or issue a refund within a reasonable time from the date of request.

  • In order to be eligible for a refund, please ensure that any damages are reported promptly and in accordance with our delivery policy. Goods which are cancelled or to be exchanged must be returned to us in the same condition as received to be eligible for a refund.
